Part of the Thorns & Thickets capsule, the CROWN OF THORNS Hood explores the language of vintage streetwear through symbolic artwork and elevated construction. Built around the character of heavily worn vintage garments, the piece combines an oversized silhouette with aged finishing and understated detailing rooted in faith.
Constructed from heavyweight 400 GSM cotton, the hoodie features a boxy, oversized silhouette with a vintage washed finish. Intentional distressing throughout gives the garment an aged appearance, while the contrasting grey hood introduces another layer of dimension to the otherwise dark construction.
A crown of thorns graphic is screen-printed across the front, finished with a deliberately fragmented, slightly pixelated treatment that gives the artwork a fading, almost disappearing appearance. The imagery references the crown of thorns placed upon Christ during His crucifixion, bringing a recognizable biblical symbol into the visual language of vintage streetwear.
Custom detailing continues along the sleeve, where a Praise Brand label is placed on the exterior. When the sleeve is turned or rolled back, a concealed cross is revealed on the opposite side, introducing an additional detail within the construction. A custom woven fabric tag with raised silicone Praise lettering finishes the back of the garment, adding texture and a distinctive branding element.
Designed with a wide, oversized cut, the hoodie carries a relaxed silhouette with substantial weight and structure, giving it the proportions of a vintage heavyweight streetwear piece.
